We’re Looking to Fill Staff Positions

Executive Board

Social Media Coordinator
~2–4 hrs/week • Remote-friendly
  • Assistant to the Media Director; run social media and promote events & content

B.R.I.D.G.E.S Committee

Speaker & Panel Coordinator
~2 hrs/week • Outreach & scheduling
  • Reach out to keynote speakers and panelists; organize schedules and materials
Committee Member
1–2 hrs/week • Flexible tasks
  • Help organize the conference and logistics (department outreach, student participation, judges, etc.)
  • Recruit GradMag HR members to build an HR team

Events Committee

GradMag Event Photographer
As needed • In-person
  • Document events with high-quality photos for promotion and archives
Committee Member
1–2 hrs/week • Flexible tasks
  • Help organize, prepare, and set up equipment for events

Editorial Board

Staff Writers
1–3 hrs/week • Remote-friendly
  • Contribute written content (research highlights, student features, event recaps) for the magazine, web, and socials
  • Maintain consistent communication and updates (newsletter, event recaps for the website)
Editors for Magazine
1–2 hrs/week • Remote-friendly
  • Oversee content quality and editorial standards
Artists for Magazine
Flexible • Portfolio welcome
  • Design visual elements and enhance the magazine’s aesthetic appeal
  • No prior art experience necessary, submit a small portfolio or a few sample images
Layout Designers for Magazine
Project-based • Remote-friendly
  • Structure and format the magazine for readability
