About BRIDGES

BRIDGES: A Cross-Departmental Graduate Student Conference, hosted by The SBU Graduate Arts & Sciences Magazine, is an interdisciplinary event that highlights the diverse research, creativity, and innovation of Stony Brook University's graduate students.

After the tremendous success of our inaugural conference in January 2025, BRIDGES is now an annual tradition. The conference fosters collaboration and communication across fields by giving students a platform to connect and share their work with a broad audience.

BRIDGES 2025 had representation from over 30 departments, and we're looking to expand even further in 2026!
