The Four Seasons

The SBU Graduate Arts & Sciences Magazine proudly released its second issue, "The Four Seasons," on May 1st, 2025 at our Spring Release Celebration, where students, faculty, and guests gathered to honor graduate student scholarship and creativity. Founded in Fall 2023 to bridge the arts and sciences and foster a multidisciplinary community, GradMag has quickly grown—expanding our membership five-fold, hosting campus-wide events such as the BRIDGES graduate conference, and becoming a symbol of interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity at Stony Brook University.

Our newest issue features 17 articles, including cutting-edge academic research and stories about vibrant student communities such as the African Graduate Student Association (AGSA), along with 7 poems and original artwork that reflect the evolving and cyclical nature of graduate life. Together, these contributions celebrate the resilience, curiosity, and creativity of our graduate student body.
