Supports the Treasurer in managing financial responsibilities
Assists in tracking sponsorships and financial transactions
Lead for social media, website, linkedin, and other online presence
Coordinate posters/promotional materials / creating them
Designs and maintains the magazine’s visual concept
Creates layout templates for designers
Assembles photography spreads into InDesign
Assistant to the media director - focus on running social media pages and promote events and magazine content
To build connections with recruiters and industry professionals for BRIDGES and other networking events
Reaches out to potential keynote speakers and panelists
Organizes speaker schedules and ensures they have the necessary materials
Seek motivated graduate students to help organize the conference/ logistics (i.e., finding members to reach out to different departments for student participation and judges, etc.)
Recruit more GradMag HR members to build an HR team
To manage logistics and planning for GradMag-hosted research presentation events
To document events with high-quality photos for promotion and archives
Seek motivated graduate students to help organize, prepare, and set up necessary equipment for events
To contribute written content for GradMag, including research highlights, student features, and event recaps, whether in the magazine, online, or for social media posts
To maintain consistent communication and updates about GradMag and events (i.e., the newsletter, event recaps for our website)
To oversee content quality and editorial standards
To design visual elements and enhance the magazine’s aesthetic appeal
No art experience necessary, but the prospective artists should submit portfolio or a few images showing their work
To structure and format the magazine for readability
